Northstar offers private ski and snowboard lessons that are perfect for families. The company offers different lessons for children between 3 and 14 years of age.

Northstar has "magic carpets" for beginners to help them get up and down quickly. The variety of lessons offered by Northstar is impressive, from station teaching for those who prefer to learn at their pace to skill clinics designed for advanced skiers or snowboarders.

It is a good place for beginners and intermediates alike to find challenging runs. Expert skiers will enjoy the steep and technical slopes.

Park your car at the Village garage or the hotel's lot.

It's important to arrive early at Northstar if you want to get a spot in the parking garage. Parking lots can fill up quickly on busy weekends. Allow enough time to locate a parking space and to reach the slopes ahead of the crowds.

Northstar offers kids half-day group ski lessons. This Tahoe ski area still teaches young children, even as early as age 3.

However, there are limitations to these group lessons. These group lessons have some limitations, such as a limit of six students per class and a maximum two instructors in each group. Group lessons are pricier than privates. However, they can be a great option if you have limited time for your child to spend on the mountain. You can cancel any group lesson up until 48 hours before its scheduled start time for a 100% refund.
